COVID19: Environmental test DRIVE or Regeneration

The Equinox of March 21st marks the Earth day, while this day is celebrated on April 22nd every year as a Global Holiday!!

We the beings and part of this planet dedicate just a day for planet!! Sounds a bit sarcastic and negative or rather funny... humans seemed to have taken form of God.... then a small microscopic organism emerged to give us earth realisation!!

Well thanks to some Peace Activists and Global leaders who atleast thought of dedicating a day for a planet.. for some bit of insight and realisation or else humans; big selfish beings would have converted entire planet to a concrete jungle ( the jungle for intelligent species more ferocious ).  Killing all the rest or putting them in captivity if only the rest of wild animals are of use to him.

John Mc Connell, an American activist sowed the seed in 1969 and thereafter UN approved his suggestion for identifying April 22nd as Earth day!! Since 1970 till 2020; half a century, we have been officially educating humans of over 129 countries on Environment Conservation. Imagine what would have the state of our Nature, water bodies 50 years back, much more cleaner, yet there was loads of realisation, wisdom over intellect to put a halt to  unnecessary extortion from our priceless natural resources. 

50 years down the timeline, the environment started raging with anger, still we wouldn't stop. Plogging vs plugging more plastic and other pollutants...the ratios couldn't be met. An impossible task to achieve as we have to be unstoppable in terms of "growth".

While half of our planets population was zooming ahead with speed to match the light years, came in the sudden emergency breaks, a microorganism, a virus christened as CORONA,  a COVID-19 chain, brought in around 30 countries or a third of world to a Lockdown state.

Currently all the offices are partially functioning on a virtual mode, can we continue and follow the same practice? Can environment ministry of countries with the ruling State Head pass a resolution, a bill or a ruling.

Hence not Limiting the Earth day to just one day.. can we make a Blue Print for certain practices to follow, which can be action oriented and implemented in long run. As the planet has already given a TEST DRIVE to the major chunk of countries which were driving ECONOMIES of INTEREST!

1. Three working days a week for commercial outfits. 
2. Departments work in circulation. (Social distancing applied)
3. This will need less functional commercial space or area.. (cost reduction)
4. We decrease vehicles on road.
5. Reducing oil consumption, electricity consumption, reducing operations cost like rent and electricity.
7. Saving more time and energy of human Capital who have heightened awareness levels, increase emotional quotient as they get more family time and aren't materialistic running robots.( eod save monthly expenses)

8. Educational institutions to adopt farmers in debt. Let a share of fee be pumped in organic cultivation so that we further move towards pure food and chemical free soil. The institutes also indirectly educate farmers. ( Bridging urban rural divide) and healthy disease free society backed with organic cultivation.

9. Students to spend 2 days a week in adopted farms, so that they establish a real connection with environment and start respecting food which isn't just a commodity. ( as currently we are overconsuming and wasting the natural resource food turned into a commodity). We are staying in concrete boxes and have lost concept of nature in totality and we part of universal existence. 
10. The above practices will induce in more of nature connect reduce retail therapy drive, lesser consumer oriented society to more aware Society. 
11. Less manufacturing,  less pollution,  more green produce than green house gas emissions... this will automatically reduce Global warming. 

Let Earth day not just be  a marketing gimmik for most of the Corporate Houses where more material is printed and less implemented.. where more resources are wasted than created!

COVID probably has given us the realization and put environment on a RESTART mode.. as we can breathe in cleaner air and see transparent azure waters in our water bodies.. and they say when you start seeing Dolphins don't forget,  there are angels around bringing in Regeneration..

Let's decide which vehicle we need to drive upon when COVID as a blessing in disguise has given us a test drive showing the way forward... 

The steering is now in hands of humanity to Drive their way towards a cleaner environment or go back to the toxic ways!!

We had dumped plastic in our landfills and ocean.. the innocent creatures consumed plastic... today the irony is; we are wrapped in plastic..

We have to realize where to put a full stop.. on razing off green patches filling with buildings and concrete.. more manufacturing vehicles 

OR.. more breathing spaces..

Call we have to take is NOW or NEVER!!

This year Earth Day is engaging volunteers across the globe for a month-long worldwide volunteer-driven program, “The Great Global Cleanup” and starting with cleanups for Earth Day 2019. We expect 100 million people participating in public events, as well as one billion others — including K-12 students around the world — to remove billions of pieces of trash from our neighborhoods, beaches, and parks. EDN is also working with partners to plant 7.8 billion trees, one for every human who will live on the planet in 2020. Combined, these volunteer activities will be the largest volunteer event in history ( source: wikipedia)
