Summer Solstice, longest day?

June 21st 2020, a day of celestial and geographical significance when the rays of sun fall directly on the Tropic of Cancer in northern hemisphere exposing the top half of earth to maximum sunlight. Today we are witnessing annular solar Eclipse which is a rare astronomical phenomenon. The moon doesn't cover sun completely but we can see a ring of fire. The eclipse begins at IST 9.15 am and ends at IST 3.04 PM therefore our planet will recieve atleast 3 hours less of sunlight, hence logically it won't be the longest day, technically though yes it is.. The celestial bodies have many significant stories attached with them, about interdependence and power play. The planet is dependent both on Sun and Moon equally for survival. The mighty sun might be the source of light but the moon too pulls the vast oceans setting up tides and both equally support fertility and life! Currently we are surrounded with various challenges related to power play.. on one side a
